Well my weight loss efforts have been on hold for a few days due to a heavy cold, just couldn't get the energy to drag myself upstairs to the gym. Did manage to do a bit of research though on some weight loss diets etc.

Too much conflicting information out there, there comes a time when common sense has to prevail.

Total calorie intake 1500 per day, Total calorie expenditure 2200 per day, result = weight loss. We all know that to acheive weight loss we have to reduce our calorie intake, and exercise. We can make our calories count for more though, ie instead of having that peice of left over Christmas cake, 400 cals, you could have some fresh fruit and save the extra 300 or so calories for later.
